Your mentor

I'm Masru, a filmmaker and creative director based in Doha, and the founder of Consteps. I direct, shoot, edit and grade my own work, and almost all of it passes through DaVinci Resolve.

The frames on this site are mine: the sea at dusk on the home page and the park below were both shot on a Nikon ZR and graded in Resolve. I care about images that feel true to the people in them, and about a workflow that still holds up on the night before a deadline.

I started this mentorship because most people don't need more tutorials. They need someone to sit with their own footage, show them what is happening and explain why. That is the help I wish I'd had when I started.
